Noticeboard

Dispensary Text Messaging Service

From 1st May 2019 the practice intends to launch a new text messaging service for dispensing patients.  This will allow our Dispensing Team to notify you of when your repeat medication is ready for collection or whether there is a query with your repeat medication request which we need to discuss with you saving you from unnecessary journeys to the practice or unnecessarily long waits in the Dispensary queue.

If you collect your repeat medication from the practice dispensary and would like to receive notifications of when it is ready for collection please complete the SMS Consent form online or complete a consent form next time you're in the surgery.

If you already receive SMS Appointment Reminders then there is no need to complete another consent form.

For further information or if you have any queries then please speak to a member of our Dispensary Team.

NHS Prescription Fee

Please be aware that the NHS Prescription fee will rise to £9.00 from the 1st April 2019.

Home Visits

Doctor's bag

For DAYTIME VISITS ONLY (08:00 – 18:30)

Our doctors typically see 4 patients in the practice in the time it takes to do a single home visit. For this reason, we ask our patients to come to the practice if at all possible. However, we can visit you at home if your condition means you cannot attend the practice.

To request a home visit, please telephone the surgery on 01778 579000, and select option 5. Please do not ask the doctor to call unless the patient is genuinely too ill to come to the surgery.

If you do require a home visit, please telephone before 10:30 and give as many details as possible to our secretary. This will enable the doctors to plan calls and deal with urgent visits promptly.
