eConsult

What is eConsult, and how does it work?

THE DEEPINGS PRACTICE

We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

Partners in Care

Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.

Access & Facilities

There are reserved car parking spaces for the disabled. There are also disabled toilet facilities and the surgery entrance has suitable access for wheelchair users. Hearing loops can be found at the reception desks and at the dispensary.

Important message for you from

The Deepings Practice

The Government has recently issued the following advice to the public:

1) Continue to stay at home as much as possible

2) If you have to go to an enclosed public space, wear a cloth face covering 1

Cloth face coverings

  • Please now make it your routine to wear a cloth face covering whenever you have to go inside shops, supermarkets, public buildings, public transport or taxis
  • Aim to buy or make a reusable, washable face covering as soon as possible, preferably before June 1st
  • Cover your mouth and nose, and fit it snugly all around

How to get a face covering

It's that simple. The important things are to fit it closely all around, pop it in the wash regularly, and hand wash or hand gel before you put it on and after you take it off.

Local measures have local effects

Please help keep The Deepings safe

Together, our actions can help limit infection rates in the community and prevent it spreading to our vulnerable residents and care homes. This is important in the months ahead.

Patients who are extremely vulnerable and shielding should continue to shield until at least the 30th June 2020. This means you must not leave your home or garden, except to access medical care that is absolutely necessary.

Children under 2 and anyone who may struggle with breathing are not advised to wear a face covering.

The Slowly Boiled Frog: Scam Alert: Possible Phony Fundraising for ...

We have received reports today of a possible scam.

Some women are being contacted by text message, claiming to be from the call and recall service to advise they are overdue for screening.

The message asks them to call a mobile number and provide personal details.

These messages are NOT from the NHS Cervical Screening Programme. The Action Fraud Line has been contacted.
