Dr Phipps is a GP Partner and the Caldicott Guardian for the practice. 

He is responsible for the GMS Contract and is the Data Protection Officer.  He is the lead GP for Learning Events and the Glinton Surgery.  He is also the practice representative to the Deepings Men’s Group.

He is also responsible for the learning disability, Ring & Vault Pessary enhanced services at the practice.

He is the QoF lead for Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoporosis.

He normally holds clinics on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Dr Akram is a GP Partner, he is the CCG Representative for the practice and one of our GP Trainers responsible for the training of GP registrars.

He is the lead GP for Ultrasound services, the Community Surgical Scheme and AQP, Clinical IT matters, IT, Practice Nurses, GP Rota and the Referral Facilitation Service.

He is also responsible for the Anti-Coagulation (INR), NHS Health Checks and DVT enhanced services at the practice.

He is the QoF lead for Atrial Fibrillation, CHD and Heart Failure.

He normally holds clinics on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.

Dr Davies is a GP Partner and one of our GP Trainers responsible for the training of GP registrars.

She is the lead GP for Antibiotics, Frailty, Immunisations, Practice Nurses, Prescribing and Public Health Contracts.

She is also responsible for Treatment Room, Childhood Immunisations, Phlebotomy and specialised Drug Monitoring enhanced services at the practice.

She is the QoF lead for Prescribing Safety and Cervical Cytology.

She normally holds clinics on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Dr Ismail is a GP Partner, he is the practice Registered Manager for the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and one of our GP Trainers responsible for the training of GP registrars.

He is the lead GP for Dispensary, Clinical IT Matters, Mental Capacity and Deprivation of Liberty’s, Quality of Framework (QoF), and Primary Care Research Network.

He is also responsible for DSQS, Pneumococcal and Influenza enhanced services at the practice.

He is the QoF lead for COPD, Asthma, Emergency Contraception, Stroke/TIA and PAD.

He normally holds clinics on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Dr Chaudhry is a GP Partner and is one of our GP Trainers responsible for the training of GP registrars.

He is the lead GP for Acute Illnesses, Salaried GPs, Locum’s, Community Surgery Scheme administration, Appointment Group (Chair), Infection Control, COVID and Health & Safety.

He is also responsible for Minor Surgery (Level 2) enhanced services at the practice.

He is the QoF lead for Diabetes.

He normally holds clinics on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Dr Wade is a GP Partner and is the lead GP for Appointments Group, practice Social Media, Complaints, Referral Facilitation Service, Reception, Sepsis and the Patient Participant Group (PPG).

He is also responsible for LHRH Analogues and Minor Injury enhanced services at the practice.

He is the QoF lead for Depression and Mental Health.

Registrars

The Practice has been a Training Practice since 1980 and has participated regularly in the work of the Peterborough and Boston VTS, supplying Case Discussion Leaders and training sessions for GP Trainers.

We have GP Registrars working at the Practice as part of their training. These doctors hold surgeries, make home visits, help at clinics and take part in the emergency rota. Those Partners responsible for training within the Practice will supervise the Registrars and are available for advice immediately if necessary.
