Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is a condition where there is increased pressure on the median nerve that crosses the front of the wrist. The nerve runs through a tight tunnel together with the tendons that bend the fingers. When the pressure is increased, pain, numbing and tingling is felt in the fingers and hand.
Following a referral from your GP Practice, a 30 minute appointment can be made with one of our Consultants to perform a Carpal Tunnel Release. The procedure is done under a local anaesthetic and so you are able to go home the same day.
