If the sac of fluid (bursa) on the elbow becomes inflamed it can enlarge and cause discomfort and an unsightly swelling.
Following a referral from your GP Practice, a 30 minute appointment can be made with one of our Consultants to perform excise the olecranon bursitis. The procedure is done under a local anaesthetic and so you are able to go home the same day.
